Israeli occupation aircraft targeted Al-Hasayna Mosque, one of the most prominent and beautiful mosques in Gaza City, leading to its complete destruction.

Al-Zafar Damri Mosque – Gaza
Al-Zafar Damri Mosque is a historic Islamic landmark located in the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood of Gaza City. It dates back to the Mamluk era, having been constructed in the year 762 AH (1361 CE), and covers an area of 600 square meters.
The mosque is also known as “Al-Qazdamri Mosque” and contains the tomb of its founder, Shihab Al-Din Al-Zafar Damri. It is distinguished by its horseshoe-shaped arched entrance and features a sandstone inscription indicating its date of establishment.
During the Israeli aggression in 2014, the mosque sustained indirect damage due to the bombing of a modern extension adjacent to it. This resulted in cracks in the ancient walls and vaulted ceilings, partial collapse of historical walls, and a hole in the ceiling caused by shrapnel. The mosque was subsequently restored in 2015.
On October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the mosque, causing severe destruction. In November 2023, during the Israeli ground invasion of the Al-Shuja’iya neighborhood, the mosque was completely destroyed.

Al-Zafar Damri Mosque – Gaza
Al-Zafar Damri Mosque is one of the oldest and most significant Islamic and archaeological landmarks in Gaza Strip, located in Al-Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. The mosque, along with many other historical mosques in Gaza Strip, was deliberately targeted by Israeli occupation forces in an attempt to erase Gaza’s history and civilization.
During the 2014 war, the mosque suffered near-total destruction, with 80% of its structure demolished. This included the destruction of the modern section of the mosque, built in 2010, which housed the library, minaret, some columns, and the iwans located on the western side, constructed from clay and stones.
In 2015, the mosque was restored at the expense of charitable donors, with careful attention to its original architectural details, following the ancient Mamluk style as it was more than 600 years ago.

They enjoy food and encourage genocide” – opinions of Israelis blocking aid entry to the Gaza Strip
Senior Israeli officials, including the Prime Minister, the President, and the Minister of Defense, have publicly used dehumanizing and sweeping language to describe Palestinians, signaling their intent to destroy and displace the population of Gaza. They have imposed a relentless siege, deliberately depriving them of the basic living conditions necessary for human survival. Even more alarming, Netanyahu cited the biblical story of “Amalek” to justify the killings in Gaza.
“We will not allow the declaration of a Palestinian state,” said Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir during his incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque. Ben Gvir’s statements come after Norway, Ireland, and Spain officially recognized the State of Palestine, sparking angry Israeli reactions.
An unprecedented revelation of intent for genocide and ethnic cleansing. The brother of the slain Israeli soldier, Shoval Ben Natan, during his funeral:
“I entered Gaza to kill as many women and children as possible, everything my eyes could see, and to expel them from the land.”
