Abu Samra Family Massacre
On October 25, 2024, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted the home of Abu Samra family in Beit Lahia refugee camp, northern Gaza, without prior warning. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 11 individuals:

Child Razan Arafat Barbakh
Israeli occupation artillery targeted the displacement site of child Razan Arafat Barbakh’s family in Rafah governorate, resulting in severe injuries and the amputation of both her legs. Due to the closure of the crossing, restriction on medicine supplies, and prohibition on patients traveling abroad for treatment, Razan succumbed to her injuries on November 3, 2024.
Targeting of Abu Mesbeh Family Home
On December 30, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the home of the Abu Mesbeh family in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 45 individuals and left dozens injured, who were transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah for medical treatment. The bombing caused widespread devastation, further escalating the humanitarian crisis in the region.
Al-Sardi School – Nuseirat
Israeli occupation aircraft bombed Al-Sardi School, run by UNRWA in Nuseirat. The occupation targeted the upper floors of the school, which was sheltering displaced individuals in Camp 2, Nuseirat, in the central Gaza Strip. The bombing immediately caused a fire, resulting in the martyrdom of many displaced individuals and injuring dozens more.
Destruction in Al-Maghazi Municipality and Nearby Factories
On January 25, 2024, Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Al-Maghazi Camp after causing widespread destruction in the area. The damage affected Al-Maghazi Municipality, the Shomer Factory, the Zobban Gas Company, several commercial shops, and residential homes.
Al-Jundi Al-Majhoul Park – Gaza
Israeli occupation forces destroyed and leveled Al-Jundi Al-Majhoul Park and memorial in Al-Rimal neighborhood, central Gaza Strip. These are considered major landmarks and the beating heart of the city. The memorial was established in 1956. The destruction of the park and memorial aims to obliterate truth and dignity, and to erase the human and national symbols representing the identity of the Palestinian people.
Al-Azhar University
The Al-Azhar University – Gaza is a Palestinian university established in 1991 to serve as a Palestinian institution for higher education that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people and stands as a symbol of dedication and contribution.
Al-Azhar University – Gaza enjoys significant Arab and international recognition and has developed numerous and diverse relationships with various Arab and international unions, organizations, and networks. These relationships support and enhance the recognition of its degrees, graduates, and academic systems.
On November 4, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft besieged Al-Azhar University and bombed and destroyed the buildings of the Faculty of Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, and administrative buildings in Al-Moghraqa area, east of Gaza City, including Al-Azhar University building in the Al-Moghraqa area, east of Gaza City.
Detainees: Men and Women
On July 25, 2024, detainees, both men and women, were released from Israeli occupation prisons after several months of captivity in its secret detention centers. They arrived at Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, to receive appropriate medical care following medical neglect and torture in Israeli prisons.
Naima Hamouda
Naima Hamouda said that she was arrested from her home in Jabalia, northern Gaza, about a month and a half ago. The arrest involved beating, torture, inhumane treatment, and binding of hands and legs.
She added that she, along with several other female detainees, was subjected to interrogations under physical abuse and daily torture at the Damoun Military Prison, which is specifically for Palestinian female prisoners from the West Bank and Gaza.
They were left in the open air for consecutive days after Israeli female soldiers demanded they strip off their clothes in the harsh cold, and they were deprived of food for extended periods.
Doctor Mohammad Abu Silmiya
In November 2023, following an attack by Israeli occupation troops on Al-Shifa Hospital, the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex, Doctor Mohammad Abu Silmiya, along with several medical staff members, was detained. He was subjected to torture for refusing to film videos admitting that Al-Shifa Complex was a military base for Palestinian factions. The occupation forces broke Doctor Silmiya’s arms and forced him to walk on both hands and knees, bound a chain around his neck, and compelled him to eat from a plate on the ground in a manner similar to animals that walk on all fours.
Faraj Al-Samouni
Israeli occupation forces arrested Faraj Al-Samouni along with two of his brothers and his cousin, whose whereabouts remain unknown, from Salah Al-Din checkpoint area on November 16, 2023. Faraj recounts the details of his arrest and the suffering that prisoners endure in Israeli occupation prisons.
Al-Samra Bathhouse – Gaza
Al-Samra Bathhouse is one of the most significant Ottoman architectural landmarks in Palestine, located in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza. It is considered a prime example of Ottoman bathhouses in the region. The design features a gradual transition from the hot room to the warm room and then to the cold room, with a dome above the cold room that has circular stained glass windows allowing sunlight to illuminate the space naturally, adding elegance and beauty to the venue. The floor is beautifully paved with marble tiles and various colored geometric patterns. The bathhouse was recently restored, enhancing its beauty and splendor. On 30 December 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft and tanks bombed and completely demolished it.
Al-Sayed Hashem Mosque
Al-Sayed Hashem bin Abd Manaf Archaeological Mosque is one of the oldest and most architecturally refined mosques in Gaza, located in Al-Daraj neighborhood. During the Israeli occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza Strip, the mosque’s walls and ceilings suffered significant damage due to fire belts and random shelling around the mosque and in Al-Daraj neighborhood.
Baptist Church – Gaza
The Baptist Church is the only Protestant church in Gaza, comprising 6 floors. It was targeted by bombing in 2008, causing damage to the church, and was subjected to renewed bombing in 2023. This resulted in numerous casualties and injuries among displaced individuals seeking refuge in the church.
Beit Al-Saqa – Gaza
Beit Al-Saqa, also known as the Al-Saqa Historical Palace, is an ancient house located in Shuja’iyya neighborhood in the central market of the eastern Gaza City. It was built in the 17th century, specifically in 1661, during the reign of Sultan Mohammed IV, son of sultan Ibrahim. The house was constructed by Ahmad Al-Saqa, a prominent merchant of that time, whose family origins trace back to the Arabian Peninsula from Makka and to Aqil ibn Abi Talib, the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The house was destroyed on 10 November 2023 during an Israeli airstrike on Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood in Gaza City.
Al-Kamaliyya School – Gaza
Al-Kamaliyya School, established during the Ayyubid Dynasty in 1237, is located in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood near Omar Al-Mukhtar Street in Gaza. The school was initially founded as a hub for students, merchants, the poor, and travelers between the Levant and Egypt. In 1930, during the tenure of Mayor Fahmi Bey Al-Husseini, it was converted into a girls’ school. The school has witnessed significant historical events since its establishment, including battles between the Crusaders and the Egyptian army, as well as the battles between Muslims and the Tatars . During the genocide committed by the Israeli occupation against Gaza Strip in 2023-2024, the school building was destroyed due to Israeli airstrikes o Al-Zaytoun neighborhood.
Al-Pasha’s Palace Museum – Gaza
Al-Pasha’s Palace is located in the old city (in Al-Daraj neighborhood) of Gaza City, Palestine. It is the only remaining palace in Gaza City and holds significant architectural value, reflecting the philosophy and characteristics of Islamic architecture in its design. The museum housed hundreds of artifacts, including pottery, glass, Corinthian columns, women’s ornaments, and more. These artifacts date back to various periods, such as the Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic eras, including the Ayyubid, Umayyad, Mamluk, and Ottoman periods.
Israeli occupation aircraft targeted it in December 2023 during its aggression on Gaza Strip, which started in October 2023, along with targeting several other historical and archaeological sites. This led to the destruction of large parts of the palace, reducing it to ruins not seen since its construction seven centuries ago.
