Othman Qashqar Mosque – Gaza
The mosque was established in 620 AH. Despite its small size, it is one of the oldest mosques and historical landmarks in the Gaza Strip. It is located in the Zaitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and is adjacent to the Great Omari Mosque, which was destroyed by the occupation during this aggression.
Israeli occupation aircraft targeted Othman Qashqar Mosque in the Old City of Gaza, resulting in its complete destruction, turning it into a pile of rubble.

Footage documents the scale of destruction caused by Israeli occupation through the devastation in the vicinity of Abu Draz Neighborhood and the area surrounding Algeria Specialized Hospital in Abasan, east of Khan Yunis Governorate, resulting in the destruction of buildings and infrastructure.
Al-Helo International Specialized Hospital
Al-Helo International Specialized Hospital is a private hospital managed by Dr. Tharwat Yousef Al-Helo. It is located in the northwest of Gaza City.
On November 1, 2023, Israeli occupation forces bombed Al-Helo International Hospital after it accommodated and replaced the maternity ward of Al-Shifa Hospital. On November 14, 2023, local news outlets reported that Israeli tanks besieged more than 100 patients and medical staff inside Al-Helo International Hospital. The hospital director stated that there was no water or fuel, and contaminated rainwater was being used for sterilization. On November 16, 2023, local news outlets reported that Al-Helo International Hospital had ceased operations.
On March 20, 2024, Israeli occupation forces bombed Al-Helo Hospital. On July 8, 2024, WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus posted on Platform X that Al-Helo Hospital was among the areas threatened with evacuation by Israeli forces, but the hospital continued to operate partially. On July 15, 2024, the World Health Organization reported that Al-Helo International Hospital reduced its operational capacity due to the Israeli military operation in its vicinity. Intensive care units and surgical operations were suspended, but services resumed after military forces withdrew.
On July 26, 2024, WHO teams were unable to visit and assess the situation at Al-Helo International Hospital due to its location in areas ordered for evacuation by the Israeli army. On August 4, 2024, the hospital administration announced that dermatological cases would be received and diagnosed for two hours.
Destruction of Rafah Border Crossing
Rafah Border Crossing is a border post located at the city of Rafah between Gaza Strip in Palestine and Sina Peninsula in Egypt. On May 7, 2024, the Israeli military announced its control over the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing. The Gaza Border Authority indicated a complete suspension of passenger movement and halting of aid into the Gaza Strip. The Rafah border crossing was closed on the Palestinian side due to the presence of Israeli tanks, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid and blocking patients and the injured from traveling to Egypt for treatment.
Al-Jam’iyyah Al-Islamiyyah Mosque – Al-Nuseirat Refugee Camp
Al-Jam’iyyah Al-Islamiyyah Mosque in Gaza is part of the extensive activities overseen by the Islamic Association in Gaza, one of the leading charitable and religious institutions in Palestine. One of its branches is located in Al-Nuseirat.

Ihyaa Al-Sunnah Mosque – Gaza
Ihyaa Al-Sunnah Mosque is one of the prominent mosques in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City. It was considered an active religious and social center, hosting many religious activities, such as spiritual gatherings and religious lectures.
On the evening of Wednesday, 15 November 2023, while people were combining the Maghrib and Isha prayers at Ihyaa Al-Sunnah Mosque in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, Israeli air forces unexpectedly struck the mosque with an airstrike without prior warning. This attack led to the martyrdom of more than fifty individuals, the injury of many others, and numerous people trapped under the rubble. This incident came to be known as the “Ihyaa Al-Sunnah Mosque Massacre.” The mosque was completely destroyed.
Al-Khulafa Al-Rashideen Mosque – Jabalia
Al-Khulafa Al-Rashideen Mosque is located in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. It is considered one of the most prominent mosques in the area, playing a central role in the religious and social life of the local community since its establishment in 1985. The mosque also played a significant role in the struggle against the Israeli occupation during the Palestinian Intifada, which earned it great symbolic importance among the camp’s residents.
On December 1, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted Al-Khulafa Al-Rashideen Mosque in Jabalia, leading to its destruction. On May 21, 2024, the area surrounding the mosque in Jabalia was subjected to heavy artillery shelling, resulting in the complete destruction of the mosque.
Al-Ameen Mohammed Malaysian Mosque – Khan Younis
Al-Ameen Mohammed Mosque, located in the Japanese neighborhood of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, was built with Malaysian financial support. Israeli occupation aircraft completely destroyed the mosque, causing significant damage to surrounding buildings and resulting in the martyrdom of dozens of citizens.
Al-Hasayna Mosque – Gaza
Al-Hasayna Mosque, also known as “Al-Mina Mosque,” is a prominent mosque located near the port on the Mediterranean coast in Gaza City. It is distinguished by its strategic location and beautiful architectural design that reflects Islamic heritage. The mosque was inaugurated in 2017 and was constructed with funding from charitable Palestinian merchants in the Gaza Strip. The mosque hosts numerous religious and social events, especially during the month of Ramadan, where it hosted Taraweeh prayers and I’tikaf.

Al-Sayed Hashem Mosque
Al-Sayed Hashem bin Abd Manaf Archaeological Mosque is one of the oldest and most architecturally refined mosques in Gaza, located in Al-Daraj neighborhood. During the Israeli occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza Strip, the mosque’s walls and ceilings suffered significant damage due to fire belts and random shelling around the mosque and in Al-Daraj neighborhood.
Al-Gharbi Mosque – Gaza
Al-Gharbi Mosque is located in Al-Shati Refugee Camp, the third largest refugee camp in the Gaza Strip, which is home to more than 90,000 refugees. The mosque serves as a significant religious and social center for the residents of the area, hosting numerous religious and community activities.
Israeli occupation aircraft bombed Al-Gharbi Mosque in Al-Shati Camp, west of the Gaza Strip, with several missiles. The attack resulted in the killing of three Palestinian civilians who were near the mosque, the injury of several others, and the complete destruction of the mosque.
