On January 24, 2024, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted Omar Ibn Abdul Aziz Mosque in Al-Tanour neighborhood, east of Rafah city, southern Gaza Strip, without prior warning or notice. The attack resulted in the complete destruction of the mosque, leveling it to the ground, the destruction of neighboring homes, and the recovery of dozens of martyrs and wounded individuals.
