On 6/11/2023, occupation aircraft committed a massacre against Shaqoura family by targeting their home in Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. This attack led to the martyrdom of more than 7 individuals, most of whom were women and children, in addition to dozens of injured and missing. The martyrs include:

1. Abdul Rahman Iyad Ibrahim Shaqoura (6 years old)
2. Mahmoud Ibrahim Hussein Shaqoura (24 years old)
3. Omar Iyad Ibrahim Shaqoura (5 years old)
4. Zainab Ali Abdul Hadi Shaqoura (60 years old)
5. Hussein Ibrahim Hussein Shaqoura (32 years old)
6. Israa Ibrahim Hussein Shaqoura (31 years old)
7. Nabil Asem Nabil Abu Shmalah (4 years old)
