Circumstances of martyrdom
Israeli occupation aircraft bombed Street 8 in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, Gaza City, without prior warning or notice. Journalist Mustafa Ayad was severely injured while covering the area and performing his journalistic duties. He was transferred to the Baptist Hospital and later martyred after being confirmed to have sustained injuries to the brain, heart, and liver.
