On August 27, 2024, Israeli occupation aircraft committed a massacre against civilians by targeting the Zorob family home in the center of Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 5 individuals, namely:
- Maisa Mahmoud Fareed Zorob (child)
- Layan Arafat Abdullah Abu Zaid (child)
- Ahmad Arafat Abdullah Abu Zaid (child)
- Arafat Abdullah Mahmoud Abu Zaid
- Jamal Nail Mahmoud Zorob
