On November 9, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft targeted Khalid Ibn Al-Walid Mosque in Al-Qarara town, Khan Yunis Governorate, southern Gaza Strip, without prior warning or notice. The attack resulted in the complete destruction of the mosque, the destruction of neighboring homes, and the destruction of a water station and a well that was over 70 years old.
