On 19/10/2024, Israeli occupation warplanes targeted Asma Bint Abi Bakr School, which was sheltering displaced persons in Al-Shati Camp, west of Gaza City, without prior warning or notice, resulting in the destruction of the school and damage to surrounding buildings.
