Al-Sheikh Zayed City in northern Gaza, a major housing project established in 2004 to accommodate those affected by the wars on Gaza Strip, experienced damage to some of its towers during the wars against Gaza Strip, which were repaired after the hostilities ended. However, in the 2023 aggression, which left no stone unturned, Israeli occupation forces completely destroyed the city, including approximately 700 residential units, as well as all city landmarks such as restaurants, commercial shops, the city mosque, and its garden.
