Details of the massacre
On November 7, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft committed a massacre against Al-Assar family by targeting a residential building belonging to them in Al-Nuseirat camp. This led to the martyrdom of more than 12 victims from Al-Assar family and Abu Matar family, who had sought refuge with them. Most of the victims were women and children, in addition to dozens of injured and a large number of missing persons. Among the martyrs were:

- Yassin Al-Assar.
- Shaimaa Yassin Al-Assar.
- Ahmed Hussein Al-Assar.
- Layan Yassin Al-Assar.
- Mahmoud Yassin Al-Assar.
- Mohammad Ahmed Al-Assar.
- Maha Ahmed Al-Assar.
- Saada Ahmed Al-Assar.
- Obaida Omar Abu Matar.
- Islam Omar Abu Matar.
