Details of the massacre
On October 26, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the house of Abu Shmala family in Al-Bureij camp without prior warning, resulting in the martyrdom of infant Saleh Ahmad Abu Shmala (40 days old), as well as:
- Lara Ahmad Saleh Abu Shmala (4 years old)
- Youssef Ahmad Saleh Abu Shmala (7 years old)
- Amir Ahmad Saleh Abu Shmala (9 years old)
Their father, Ahmad Samir Abu Shmala, was also martyred, while their mother sustained serious injuries.
