On October 8, 2024, Israeli occupation artillery targeted Al-Shalfooh Bakery in Jabalia Camp, northern Gaza Strip, with multiple artillery shells during the Israeli invasion of the northern region. This resulted in a fire that completely destroyed the bakery, which had been the only operational bakery in the northern Gaza Strip.
