Ibn Uthman Mosque, located in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, is one of the largest historical mosques and a remarkable example of Mamluk architecture, known for its architectural and decorative elements. Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the historic mosque, resulting in injuries among civilians and causing significant damage to the mosque as well as the surrounding homes.
