Naima Hamouda said that she was arrested from her home in Jabalia, northern Gaza, about a month and a half ago. The arrest involved beating, torture, inhumane treatment, and binding of hands and legs.
She added that she, along with several other female detainees, was subjected to interrogations under physical abuse and daily torture at the Damoun Military Prison, which is specifically for Palestinian female prisoners from the West Bank and Gaza.
They were left in the open air for consecutive days after Israeli female soldiers demanded they strip off their clothes in the harsh cold, and they were deprived of food for extended periods.
