Circumstances of martyrdom
Israeli artillery struck journalist Hassan Farajallah with shrapnel from a random shell near Hafsa School in Jabalia Refugee Camp, northern Gaza Strip. The injury was to his right foot, and he was transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital. Due to limited medical resources, he was referred to Al-Awda Hospital for possible amputation of his foot. However, he was killed due to complications and excessive bleeding.
