On November 11, 2023, Israeli occupation forces arrested two brothers from Gaza who were seeking refuge in Gaza New School and used them as human shields during the bombing of the school. They were tortured and mistreated for refusing to collaborate and betray their country. Their money, phones, and identification were stolen, and they were falsely threatened with the murder of their family members to intimidate them.
On November 11, 2023, Israeli occupation forces arrested two brothers from Gaza who had taken refuge in New Gaza School. They were used as human shields during the bombing of the school. One of the brothers was released after 40 days, while the other remained detained until April 7, 2024, over 140 days, during which his brother relentlessly sought information about his fate. The Israeli occupation forces subjected the two brothers to electric shocks while they were naked, broke their rib cages, and placed them in cold rooms while pouring water over them.
On July 25, 2024, three detainees were released from Israeli occupation prisons and transferred to the intensive care unit at Nasser Medical Complex due to their deteriorating health condition. This decline was caused by medical neglect and torture during their imprisonment in Israeli prisons.
A detainee from Gaza City arrived in Rafah in a dire health condition, with signs of torture covering his entire body. Israeli occupation forces subjected him to brutal torture up until the moment of his release.
