A massacre against Ziada family in Deir  Al-Balah on October 29, 2023, claimed the lives of all family members, most of whom were children. Residents were able to identify the bodies of the children because their names were written on their bodies.

Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the house of Natiel family in Deir al-Balah on October 22, 2023, without prior warning. Anticipating the occupation’s disregard for civilian lives and its potential for sudden aggression, the children’s families wrote their names on their legs to identify them in case their home was targeted. Indeed, the occupation killed the following children:

Hani Ahmad Rebhi Natiel (2 years old)
Layan Ahmad Rebhi Natiel (7 years old)
Samar Hani Ibrahim Natiel (28 years old).

Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the house of Jouda family on Abu Aref Street in the center of Deir al-Balah Governorate on October 14, 2023, without prior warning, resulting in 20 martyrs and dozens of injuries, most of whom were children.

On October 19, 2023, Israeli occupation aircraft bombed a house belonging to the Al-Da’alis family near Al-Ahli Club in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp, leading to its destruction along with neighboring homes. The attack resulted in the martyrdom of seven civilians.

A child dies on a rain-soaked journey as his family flees their home on an animal-drawn cart, forced to leave due to the Israeli occupation’s mass displacement of thousands of Palestinians from northern Gaza to the south.
