The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) stated that the Gaza Strip has become the most dangerous place for children in the world, and a UNICEF official said, "A child suffering from illness in Gaza is condemned to a slow death because they cannot receive the treatment they need, and it is unlikely they will survive long enough to leave." Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces have killed more than sixteen thousand Palestinian children.

Child Jihad Abu Amer

Child Jihad Khaled Abu Amer (2 years old) was born during the war on Gaza on May 21, 2021, and was pulled from beneath the rubble of his home as a martyr on October 23, 2023, following an Israeli occupation airstrike on Al-Salhi Towers in Al-Nuseirat Camp, central Gaza Strip.

Child Amina Al-Nabeih

Israeli occupation aircraft bombed the home of the Al-Nabeih family in Al-Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City on October 20, 2023, without prior warning, resulting in the martyrdom of two children: Amina Mohammed Salem Al-Nabeih (4 years old) and Kenzi Fadi Salem Al-Nabeih (1 year old).

Child Donia Abu Mohsen

Child Donia Abu Mohsen, known for the video “I Want My Leg Back,” was injured when her leg was amputated during a brutal bombing by the Israeli occupation of her family’s home in Gaza on November 22, 2023, which also resulted in the martyrdom of four family members, including her parents and two brothers.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that child Donia was martyred during an airstrike by Israeli occupation aircraft on December 18, 2023, targeting the maternity building at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis. She was receiving treatment at Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip, until she was martyred in a new brutal airstrike by occupation aircraft on the medical complex.

Child Anas Anwar Al-Masri

A mother is mourning her child Anas Anwar Al-Masri (13 years old), who was injured during the bombing by Israeli occupation aircraft that targeted Al-Halima Mosque in Khan Yunis Governorate on December 1, 2023, while Anas was playing on his bicycle next to the mosque.
